My Miscarriage

by Rachel Bradley

Date: Wed, 8 Nov 2000

Earlier on this year, I suffered a miscarriage. I can't begin to tell you
about the amount of heartache and pain this caused me. My husband didn't
seem to know what to do with me. However I picked myself up and tried my best
to get on with my life. Now I am pregnant again and I have some incredibly
mixed feelings. I am scared that a miscarriage may occur, I am experiencing
different symptoms to the ones I had in my previous pregnancy and this is
scaring me, and most of all I can't seem to be able to focus on anything
but my miscarriage. This is leaving me upset, confused, I suffer from
serious mood swings and I have been sent home from work because of my
continually being upset. I think it is the fear of the unknown. I don't know
how this pregnancy will progress and I want answers. The truth is that I
know that there is nothing that I can do to prevent a miscarriage from
happening again, but at the moment I feel very unsupported. Can you offer me
any advice or information on this? If so, please email me on
Rachel@bluefoot-project.freeserve.co.uk  I would be very grateful for any advice you could give.

Thank you

Rachel Bradley
