My dear child, so tender and sweet.

How your precious face glows, even in your sleep.

Our time together was short on this earth,

I awaited with love the hour of your birth.

But now you are in heaven,

where angels care for you.

I know that our Heavenly Father

smiles when he sees you, too.

My prayer is

that in His eyes I may find grace

To go someday to heaven

and see your beautiful face.
