Hello,
My name is Kim Childress, I lost my son, Chase Derek Childress to S.I.D.S on November 11th of 1988. He was our first born child and may I add, a very long awaited birth!! I am now the mother to a beautiful almost 6 yr old daughter, Jessica Blake Childress.
I have been an active member of S.I.D.S for many years, serving as Vice President to the New Mexico chapter. I am always looking for ways to help with the S.I.D.S organizations.
I would be more than happy for you to add my name to your list as an area contact person. I have been on many home visits with the public health nurse for newly bereaved parents, spoken on occasions from a parents point of view, addressing nurses, EMTS, etc.
