Comments: I cannot believe a year has passed since Abby entered our world. She was perfect and beautiful. It is her first birthday today and we miss her so much. We think of her each and every day and wonder how she is. She brought us 3 months and 23 days of pure joy. Her daddy and I honored her special day today. It was quiet and filled with lots of memories and thoughts of what the last year has brought us. We love you Abby with all of our hearts and wish you a very blessed birthday. A website has been created for you and it is found at www.geocities.com/sm_sec/Abby1.html Love from your mom and dad

Comments: This is a wonderful sight. You are able to find people that are going through what you are going through, and are able to relate to their feelings. I myself have lost one child, my daughter, to SIDS in 1994, and also a son to anencephaly in 1997. Keep up the good work on this site. It is wonderful to have this information available to greiving families.

Comments: Thoughts: Five Years Later... By Mother of Quinnzelle Z. R. Reaves-Margolies, Born: January 13, 1995. Died: April 22, 1995. It has already been five years and time has flown by. Looking back has been an emotional roller coaster. It still is from time to time--resolving conflicts within myself in my faith, beliefs and dealing with the physical stress I have had after my son’s death. I wonder what it will be like the next time(s) around, when I want or have more children. My son was my first and only child. The fear of anticipation would be the ultimate obstacle. I can now look up in the sky on beautiful sunny days and know that my Son is in Heaven, in the ultimate safe haven, and is looking down upon me. There is some comfort of knowing where he is. I look and try to understand why bad things happen to good people. There are the parents out there that cannot locate their children, missing, murdered, not having any answers. I was one of those fortunate ones, having this “peace.” My Quinnzelle is in Heaven. It is hard to imagine that every thing happens for a reason. People say, “The trials and tribulations in your life will either make you or break you.” For myself, I have become stronger and more ambitious in what I believe will make me a better person. I am not as emotional when it comes to the small situations or blow situations out of portion as I would had if I hadn’t experienced my ultimate nightmare, which had become my reality. I cherish what I do still have, and whole-heartily try to look at the world optimistically. I get angry when I hear about child abuse, neglect and other circumstances where parents do not cherish their children and take them for granted. I cannot comprehend why. I lost my baby that I would had done ANY thing for and even died for, no questions asked. I remember the nightmare as if it happened yesterday. For three and a half months, he was here on this Earth. Quinn gave me motivation, gave me strength, and most of all, gave me COMPLETE happiness, and then one morning, he was gone. At times, I am lonely, but never alone. I do have my good days and bad days. I am only human. I miss him dearly. Five years later, there are people who still judge me, I should have “gotten over it,” “should already be through or past ‘this phase’ you are in,” or “need to just let it go.” Every death or situation has its own circumstance. GOD is the only Judge. I do not expect every one to understand what I have gone through, but I do believe true friends (friendships or relationships) will respect my feelings. Not being able to physically hold him will be the hardest conflict I have within myself. I keep my Quinn forever in my heart and in my memories. Quinnzelle is and will always in all ways be my "Little Angel."

Comments: I lost my son, Zachary, a little over a year ago. He was 4 1/2 months old. A month after Zachary died I found out that I was pregnant- with TWINS !!! I couldn't believe it. I didn't know if I really wanted another baby-make that two. Zachary was all that I had wanted. He was my everything. I didn't know if I could love another baby. When I felt the twins move for the first time panic set in. I was totally scared - scared to lose another baby. After the first movements I knew I was in love again. Jacob and Molly were born April 7,2000. They were one month premature. Jacob had problems breathing when he was first born but he was o.k. They tested them for sleep apnea because I had already lost a baby. I was sure they would do fine. Both of my babies have sleep apnea and are on monitors. They were both on medicine but now only Molly is on the medicine. They are a little past three months and I am getting scared. It's getting too close to the age when I lost my precious Zachary. I love them very much and I don't want to lose them. I wish I still had my Zachary. Time does not seem to ease my pain. It still hurts very much.. We love you my angel baby.Zachary mamma loves you and misses you with all of her heart..
