Comments: I am the mother of a beautifull baby girl named Britaney Michelle Waller.
She went to be with the lord on 1-06-93. I was told she died of sudden infant death. I
don't believe in it. I think that it is that the doctors are too lazy to take the time to
research. Why should they? They don't get paid to do it. Some might say that I haven't
gotten over the pain and grief but I have something doctors don't have and that is a
mothers intuition something that I tried to tell my doctor days before her death. I am not

..she was 3 mos 3 days old. Only breast-fed, non-smoking etc, etc, etc. She was our
first-born and we still miss her terribly. Karin is due with our second child (a girl too)
on 7/9/97. We are excited, scared, cautious, worried and trying to trust that this girl
(Allison Hope) will stay with us for a long time. In spite of our fears, we are grateful
to have the chance to build our family...and continue to try to live in a way that is a
tribute to Abby. She was just a little infant but had the power to change our lives
forever. We are establishing "The Daisy Foundation" in her memory to help
underpriveledged children, to try to spread the beauty and love she brought to this world

All was going well. At 20 wk I went for a routine office visit. The most devistating day
of my life! No heart beat was found. On 12-11-96 induction of labor was begun.{against my
wishes} On 12-12-96 at 5:10pm my first child, IAN PHILIP came softly and qiuetly into my
world. I have never seen anything so beautiful or heartbreaking as the sight of my sons
beautiful face. He would have been a wonderful man someday. I will always miss him and

Comments: London. My six month old son has had many episodes of apnea with vigorous
intervention to start his breathing. He has been diagnosed with severe GE Reflux. He is on
Cisapride and Zantac, and using a home monitor at night.. I am frightened to read that

Comments: I lost my second preganay one week ago (May 10, 1997) and they were my
little twin angels. Two boys I believe but we are never to be sure! I miss them dearly as
well as my other baby, a girl, although again we will never know for sure! I don't believe
that life will ever be the same again and I fear that I will never have babies. Doctors
will not run tests on me or my boyfriend until we have had three miscarriages. That could
be years from now. I don't know if I can wait that long. I guess I have no chaice and I

Comments: I am 39 (40 in 2 months)and had a missed abortion miscarriage in early
Feb./97 at 12 weeks. I am currently trying to ge pregnant again, using only ovulation
prediction kits as an aid for timing. I had voluntarily terminated 2 pregnancies earlier
in life (at 20 and 31) and although I hate to look back and regret those decisions, I have
to admit that I do. I am afraid that it may be "too late"...that I chose my
career over having a child. In addition, I am a single woman. I have a partner who is

Comments: My son Benjamin passed away on Thanksgiving Day 1996. The autopsy
concluded SIDS as the cause. He is our third child, all boys, and all extremely healthy.
What a shock it was to discover our son had passed at just two months old. My heart goes

Comments: I want to say that my heart goes out to all of you here and anyone who
loses a child for reasons that they can never even hope to understand. My stepson died on
January 28, 1994. He was three months old and had been laid down for his afternoon nap.
Within a half hour he was gone. I hate to say this but I do believe that it was someones
fault. His biological mother was a crack addict and under those circumstances didn't take
care of herself. Low birthweight, lack of attention, being exposed to smoke constantly his
first month of life outside of the womb. no one can convince me that it isn't her fault.
Maybe it is a hateful way to live your life but I want it to be her that is gone everytime
I remember how incredibly tiny and helpless he was. If only she had handed him over to us
instead of waiting until we took legal action maybe (maybe not) he would have that much
more of a chance. I don't know how to live with this . Three years has done nothing to
ease the pain.. |
