until now. Someone I know lost their 6mo. old a couple of days ago. I can't possibly
imagine the hopelessness and dispair they must be feeling to lose their beautiful little

her name is Amanda Locke. Anyway, our son died in feb. 1998. It was Valetines Day. His

Comments: My son Gaelan R. Kronk was born Sept.3 1997 he
died of SIDS March 5 1998 at 0930 in the morning. My son stayed at my inlaws house that
night because I work third shift and my wife had to work early that morning. I was on my
way home that morning when I called to tell them I was on my way to pick him up. The
neighbor lady answered the phone and told me that Gaelan had to be taken to the hospital.
on arrival at the hospital they took me straight back to the counsulting room where I
found my mother and father in law crying. They told me that Gaelan had died and that the
doctors and police needed some information. After the information was given they told me I
could go back and see him if I wanted to. I wanted to see him before my wife arrived, when
I walked into the room I couldn't believe my eyes. I kept telling myself that this wasn't
happening. When they let me hold him I kept telling myself he's just asleep he'll wake up.
My wife arrived and she broke down, I was so numb I didn't know what to say to her. I just
kept telling myself that this wasn't happening. After the funeral the incident really put
a strain on our relationship. Some times we take things for granted and we don't realize
it till it's gone. I would give anything to have my son back... |

Comments: I became a SIDS parent on January 7, 1998 when my
son, Anthony Morgan, 3 months 15 days, died at his cargiver's home. It was only my third
day back at work, when I received a phone call in the middle of the day from the caregiver
saying that the paramedics were there and that Anthony was not breathing. The last thing I
ever thought was that he died, let alone died of SIDS. SIDS never was a concern to me,
ever. Altough my husband and I have received tremendous support from family and friends,
it is very hard to understand and accept what has happened. It all just seems like a bad
dream and I'm ready to wake up now. I'd like to hear from those who have moved on to have

1985. He was 3 days shy of being 2 months old. He will forever live in my soul, and
forever be loved eternally. I cannot visit his grave as I have now moved about 4 hours
