Comments: When I was 17 I became pregnant although I never knew it. I was only 6
weeks along, when I'd experienced severe cramping and an extremely heavy period. I went to
the doctor's to find out what was wrong. That's when he told me I'd had a misscarriage.
The father of the child already had a daughter that wasn't quite a year old by another
girl and he'd lied to me about not still being with the mother. I'd broked up with him,
then discovered I'd been pregnant. He found out, and we had a HUGE fight. We haven't
spoken since. It's taken me a long time to recover, but finally, it's getting easier with
time. |

was 10 1/2 months old, born on July 24, 1997. We have a surviving sibling, Scott James,
who will be 4 in December. We all miss Joey so much. He died in day care and we believe he

as a result of my new found mother hood. One of my fears is SIDS. A cousin of mine came
close to dying of SIDS recently, she was sleeping and almost died in her crib, luckily my
aunt heard her daughter making noise on the baby monitor and woke her up almost too late.
My cousin was turning blue and gasping for breath. I too am scared of this Infant Death

been warned only because she had insisted placing me on a monitor. i think its
heartbreaking that a lot of people have heard of sids but they dont really know what it is
